During the Covid-19 Lockdown, I was serving as one of the co-heads of the Lady Shri Ram College Film and Photography Society - Projekt. Due to the recent lockdown, our annual exhibition had to be called off, prompting us to explore alternative ways to connect with our audience. It was during this period that the concept of creating a zine emerged, marking a first-time endeavour for our society.
We decided to maintain the theme of our canceled exhibition - Discomfort. This theme permeated every aspect of our design process, shaping the layout, content, and format of the zine. As you flip through our zine, you may notice odd numbering of pages, irregular page margins, thematic changes on every page and misplaced elements of humour - all made with the deliberate intent of instilling a sense of discomfort for our viewers.
